Ultimate Sports Association Hires Mark Wine of Functional Muscle Fitness
Wine to serve as Director of Performance Training
Walnut Creek, CA - The Ultimate Sports Association (USA) is pleased to announce that it will officially re-launch its Ultimate Performance program under the direction of Mark Wine of Functional Muscle Fitness (FMF) .
The Ultimate Performance program, now named, "Ultimate Performance, powered by Functional Muscle Fitness" will focus on increasing an athlete's speed, agility & strength while simultaneously reducing the likelihood of injury. Through a systematic and disciplined approach, Ultimate Performance training develops players into better athletes by training them to move quicker, jump higher and become stronger.
All Ultimate Performance sessions will be held at the Ultimate Fieldhouse in Walnut Creek.
“Throughout a long and thorough search of how to provide our customers with the best possible option for performance training, we kept circling back to what Mark has developed at Functional Muscle Fitness, said Mike Samuels, CEO of the Ultimate Sports Association. “He is among the best known and most respected athlete-development coaches around and his experience and portfolio exemplify that. After speaking with Mark in-person, it was immediately obvious that he would be a great fit and will run a top-notch program at the Ultimate Fieldhouse, providing our players a chance to reach their full potential as athletes. We are excited to have him aboard and to again offer this great program.”

Mark Wine is the owner of Functional Muscle Fitness (FMF) in Concord, CA. FMF is an elite fitness and athletic performance center. Coach Wine is also currently the head Strength & Conditioning Coach for De La Salle High School, team USA Synchronized Swimming, Walnut Creek Soccer Club and team Haiti Polo.
Coach Wine founded FMF in 2010 on the principle of providing motivated individuals the chance to train at professional levels whether it is for fitness, fat loss, athletic performance or youth development. This attitude has helped FMF grow and expand twice more than doubling its size each time.
